W:O:A Pre-sale and ticket dealers

Dear metalheads,

The presale is running on high speed and we´ve sold almost 20000 tickets for Wacken 2012. We want to point out urgently to avoid the contact with ticket hustlers like on Ebay, Seatwave, Viagogo and others of that kind.

This year we sadly had to send some metalheads home, which bought their tickets on ebay and got faked or invalid (cause disabled) tickets. These tickets had to be disabled because their owners had reported them as lost property. With this disabled tickets we couldn´t grant the admittance to the festival and we have to maintain that course in the future. So please avoid disappointments by avoiding contact to these ticket dealers. In case that you are more interested into the problems of ticket secondary market, there was an interesting report at the last Spiegel TV show at the 7th of August 2011.

The official Wacken-Tickets are only and exclusively available at www.metaltix.com, the official W:O:A ticket shop. Use the offered ticket cancellation insurance or use our FREE ticket exchange (please read the rules carefully and do not evade them – they are for your own safety!) in our forum.
